GO MBUNA

On Saturday, August 27th, our Mbuna Kids competition team went out to the F2W Open and did phenomenal!  We went in with 7 kids, and left back home with 10 medals!  We have not all competed as a team in awhile, but it was nice to see all the kids go out there and do what they have wanted to do all summer!  They definitely went really hard in their preparation for this tournament.  Not only did these kids get all their Friday practices in, they woke up at 8am to get ANOTHER practice in the day after!  What kid do you know likes to wake up at 7am on a Saturday morning?  I know most would rather be eating cereal, and watching cartoons!  The best part about this tournament was seeing all the camaraderie created through this training camp.  These kids realized very quickly what it means to be on a team.  Not one kid was not being cheered on by their fellow team members, and it was amazing to see everyone put all their hard work in to get their goals accomplished.  

We are happy to see all these kids in their Mbuna Gi's, ready to throw down for themselves!  It is amazing what these kids can do, and with a little bit of guidance, we know they can do anything they put their minds to!  We can not wait to see how they do at the next tournament!
