A Successful 303 Summer PartyÂ
Last Saturday afternoon, on August 12th, the 303 Training Center held their annual Jiu Jitsu Belt Promotion and Summer Party. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as members and their families gathered to witness the promotion of several belt levels. The party was a success, thanks to the contributions of everyone who attended.
Â
During the event, we witnessed three new Jiu Jitsu black belts receive their well-deserved promotions. Along with many brand new brown, purple, and blue belts were congratulated and applauded for their progression.
Â
Following the promotion ceremony, the Marathon Randori ensued with over 50 participants at the start. It was a grueling and intense 3-hour battle of endurance. With only five participants remaining, the crowd watched amazed as 15-year-old Ollin Quintana fought his way to the top, emerging as the last man standing. He accomplished the impossible and ended up being the winner of a brand new 303 Training Center GI. This feat is not something that can easily be duplicated, and it indeed deserves recognition. It was an awe-inspiring moment for everyone who witnessed it.
Â
The celebration didn't stop there. The 303 Training Center threw a fun-filled party not just for the adults but also for their children. Cleverly, we had installed a foam and bubble machine which ran throughout the afternoon, and the kids played and laughed with each other. It was a fun-filled day for all, and we are grateful to the parents who brought food and drinks and most of all, their enthusiastic energy.
Â
We are thrilled and elated with the success of our 13th annual Summer Party and Belt Promotion. To the entire 303 Training Center community, we appreciate everyone for your unwavering support and dedication towards maintaining an exceptional training center. Cheers to another successful year, and we can’t wait to see what's in store for the next promotion ceremony!
